1. Where do you get off thinking you deserve 4 spaces in the second row of a crowded parking lot?

2. Why are you doing this in front of a hotel when you are literally driving around with a hotel room on the back or your truck?

My grandparents grew up during the depression. I liked this country then.

My girlfriend adds “anal” to the names of RVs and campers. This one works way too well.

“BECAUSE MY PENIS IS TOO SMALL, there I said it. Happy now? I’m compensating for a small penis, being self important, being an arsehole, etc... yeah I could park further away but then I’d have to walk DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM?”

Not that it makes it OK or anything but it could be being delivered or driven under contract and the delivery driver is taking no chances.

So park further away and take no chances of your truck getting keyed or something.

Have you met the people who drive other people’s cars for a living? Logic and courtesy are not their strong suits

Second row? Oh hell no, that should be at the back of the lot.

Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, I gotta admit- I actually prefer this parking orientation rather than trying to squeeze it into one space. Because if it’s literally too long to fit in one space, then it’s better to go ahead and take up a second space than to hang out in the aisle. And as for width, trying to squeeze into one spot will make anyone who tries to park next to it want to overstep their own lines to make way, which will of course spread to affect the entire lot...

But parking at the back is really the best option, though. That way, you can avoid invading other drivers’ space as people come and go (unless the place is super-busy, and someone has no other choice but to park next to the truck. Then it’s just  hey- at least you tried ). Also, depending on the lot layout, you might even be able to hang the rear of the camper over some grass on the edge of the lot, so that the only remaining issue is the width.

Not delivery. No DOT numbers on truck. Its a personal rig.

I saw a douchebag old timer setup like this raging and weaving down I5 last week, at about 10 over the flow of traffic. I was kind of hoping he’d steer too hard and flip it, traffic jams be damned - but i witnessed no such amusement.

I will agree with you that this behaviour right up front is totally unacceptable. But as some who worked in a campground, some of these units are MASSIVE. Wouldn’t surprise me if it wouldn’t actually fit within the lines of a single stall, width or length. But definitely park it further away if you’re going to do that, yeah. Especially in a hotel parking lot. Not all hotels have more than one space per room, if even that.
