yeah, i know that it was a turkey, but it sure sounded good trying to say it was a buzzard waiting on him to slip up...... those turkeys are sharp. real aware of what is around them. vicious and defensive when you try to mess with a nest. neat critters no doubt..... would sure have been interesting if old franklin had got his way and gotten the turkey the job as the national bird........ what would we be eating on thanksgiving?.......
