To make up for it, here’s a 2014 Fiat 500L I will be messing around with for the remainder of this week while I’m in Tennessee. Happy hump day everybody!
PS - I held my phone in the correct orientation this time, yay me.

This is a weird spec—looks like the Pop trim level (base model) with the DCT and the upgraded uConnect head unit.
But it has the chrome mirror caps of the top spec Lounge model.

To be honest, I don’t know a great deal about the trim level on these. What I will say is this, for what these cars sell for, it’s a very good deal.

OH MY GOSH THOSE A PILLARS! THE ABARTH NEEDS THOSE SO BADLY
For such a small car it has the worst visibility.
Where at in TN? I’m in Nashville, always down to meet fellow oppos

rental car spec combo?

Yeah the pillars and overall execution is rather cool honestly! I’m in Loudon as of right now :)

I had a base spec 500 for a rental car for a week and thought it was a hoot for such a small cheap car. It makes fun noises in sport mode. Especially compared to the Corolla, Sonic, and Sentra I had the other weeks.

Admittedly, I’m slightly loving this little hatch. It’s got usable practicality and is honestly fun to drive with the turbo 1.4.

BPM was due on my Freightliner, much of my family is here, and to test out a few cars from some friends that run dealers.

Agreed, lived here for quite a long time and technically my employer is here. Just moved back home to Ohio a few years back :)

I live in Nashville and love it. Except right now when it’s ungodly hot and humid. That’s why I’m in Colorado thinking of reasons for me to get out of there. Come September I’ll be fine though.

No doubt, it’s super hot here in TN. I do love me some Colorado though!

I’m sure it would look funky on the Abarth, but it’s not a joke when I say that whole families disappear when crossing in front of me.
Well dang, London is east TN. Perhaps another time I shall meet more oppo folks

That’s absolutely a beautiful view, I could live with that!

One of these times I’ll make it to Nashville and meet up for sure, that would be great.
I could see how visibility would be an issue, but the Abarth in itself just makes up for it :)

Oh without a doubt it does. It’s a blast to drive. Puts on a smile on my face daily! How do you feel about that radio?

I’m not huge audiophile per se, but I do enjoy some satellite radio entertainment. I found the radio to be rather good, more than acceptable for this vehicle’s price. The only complaint about the car I had was with the transmission, it was a little jerky, but that’s normal with many economy minded DCT gearboxes.
