Yet the XJS weighs 600lbs more than the Toyota. And it’s so short I was able to leave the parking garage without swiping my card by just driving under the gate.
About to go pick up a Taurus fan. Should be Fun Times (tm)

I was going to suggest a Taurus fan a while ago but I figured you had your reasons. Why didn’t you just start with one of them?

They are so short. The COG definitely contributes to the sorta decent handling, especially considering how soft the suspension is.

What cars have you been driving to give you the impression the XJS doesn’t have a soft suspension?

90s Buicks. Stock late 90s Civics. Cadillacs. Miatas.

Well those would definitely give you a different perspective on soft. Any idea what your shock situation is like? I sometimes wonder if previous owners skip on replacement when they find out there’s six of them to replace.

It doesn’t float, there’s no bounciness or anything to indicate they’re blown.

Have you ever measured the height? My Corolla is approximately 56 inches tall for reference. Like you’ve said before it’s hard to size you car in pictures. It looks bigger than it is
