knife sharpening.
My knives were really dull, not any more. My mom’s knives were even worse.

My 5" Santoko took lots of work to get sharp, I prefer with for veg over my 9" chef knife. I also sharpened my mom knives, then she put them in a drawer banging off other loose items... she complains they are too dull. I put mine with the spine down in my block to keep the pressure off the cutting edge.

Can confirm, spine down is the ‘right way round! And I thought I was the only one...
