I heard this on the Sirius/XM 90s channel this morning, it was somewhere high on the charts on this day in 1998. This song and Sugar Ray bring back endless memories of being in college, and drinking.

To me, lyrics are probably the most important part of a song. If it’s stupid nonsense, I don’t care how good the rest of it is, I can’t enjoy it fully.

Great song! Funny story about how it was written. I remember that Sex and Candy’s music video came out the same day as the music video for Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls.
