Trying to catch up from vacation time, writing a lengthy engineering report at home, when the thought crossed my mind . . . hey I could be having a beer right now. It might make the writing flow, right? (Obviously I am procrastinating taking a break right at the moment.)

Update: Not related to whether or not I am currently drinking, but I am more in the mood right now for (local Charlotte area brewery alert) a Triple C “Golden Boy” blonde ale than the NoDa “Jam Session” pale ale that is in my fridge. The Jam Session is a bit too hoppy for my current preference. Because I know that you care.
Update #2: Dang it, the dog is resting his chin on my leg and giving me the big puppy-dog eyes to say, “You should stop working and focus on me, now.” Hard to resist. I’ve almost worked my target hours for the day . . .
