I miss the 90s non-ironic fashion style. The way people dressed and groomed themselves in the 90s seems so much more genuine than the current hipster bear/mustache compulsory combo on adults under 40 + skinny jeans + nonsensical tattoos

Years ago I watched a youtube how cgi has ruined movies, “your eyes don’t see it, but your brain does”. How all the cgi has removed the grit and realism. I think music is the same thing with autotune in the last 20 years. those classics with just a few background instruments just are timeless.

You know something I love?

I rarely listen to the radio but when a Prince song comes on, hold the flip up, this requires slowing down/driving further/etc because getting an opportunity to listen to Prince is still to this day a treat, because you cannot simply stream or fuck even legally own a digital copy of his music.

That’s like getting finding out the absolute love of your life has herpes and you love them too much to just walk away. Unlike the old school P2P downloading that 90s kids used to do, aka giving your computer AIDs for free music.
