Since i live in quebec i have access to poutine everywhere

Today it’s a Plain jane poutine. Fries, poutine sauce and cheese. To which I add Salt and Vinegar.

Edit. FYI here in Quebec our McDonald’s Serves Poutines too. Not anything close to what i’m eating but they try.

Real Poutine is here in Quebec only, the rest are all imitations and variations.

Jealous. It’s gaining popularity near me (Southern US) but only as a specialty item. Nothing I’ve had even comes close to the poutine I had visiting Quebec. Best place I had it up there was on the Ile de Orleans at a little duck farm where they had a poutine stand - La Roulotte du Coin.

quebec is home to the poutine not the rest of canada, but to be fair I havn’t had a poutine elsewhere than here Quebec in at least 20 years, cause they made it with grated cheese(oh the horror). I hope they use curds by now.

I had some at the Lodge at Whitefish Lake. It was very good, doubt it was authentic though because we mostly get tourists from Alberta.

I know what’s for dinner tonight. The restaurant near me sells decent putine. Not as good as this, but still pretty solid.

I went to my Canadian neighbor’s house for the Super Bowl a few years ago. There was a never ending supply of poutine and Labat Blue. I went home very full.

This place doesn’t make that claim, it’s just fact ;). I’ve had it at Chez Morasse, Snack Bar and Chez Gaston, and theirs pales in comparison to La Roulotte du Coin. If you ever find yourself on the Ile de Orleans, do yourself a flavor and stop in!
