I’ve been thinking about trying to find a manual SC300 to use as a daily driver. Are they impossible to find? All I ever see are autos and while a swap probably aint that hard, its not something im really interested in for a non-project car.

The spoiler got cracked against a tree(hence the broken taillight). Ive got another trunk and spoiler though if this dosent turn out. After having this thing for a couple years the stock spoiler was getting boring. I don’t like the way it hangs over the trunk and completely covers the edge of the rear quarter panel above the taillight.

I’d be looking in Los Angeles early next year so I havent been seriously looking yet. From what I have seen, they always are stanced or have some other terrible mods. I’ve agreed with myself that I dont need to buy something 100% mint and stock, but I at least want quality, reversible mods.
And if it is pretty nice, then its always an Auto.

It’d be easiest/cheapest to get an unmolested sc400 because peaple don’t have visions of supra straight six turbo pulls. But then you guarantee that it’s an automatic

I suppose I just need to accept trans swap if I ever want one lol. Or just stick with my original idea of getting a hot hatch of some sort. But I hate giving up RWD and 2 doors, even for a “practical” daily.

yeah dude. dont give up on RWD if you don’t have to. I’m with you on the coupe too, I dont ever want to go 4 doors. That’s why I got the Veloster...3 doors!
It’s too bad they never made an Is300 coupe.

My Miata isnt going anywhere so at least ill have my RWD small car either way. But im also leaning towards making it much more track prepped so I really need something thats still street fun. Lots of power would be nice to have too.
