We received a community guide for our county, inside it has some statistics for the community from 2011-2015. It also has this gem, ‘femails’. It’s spelled correctly everywhere else, except this one line. I had a good laugh when I found it.

Sbemails before femails.

Yeah, I thought this was so bad it’s good. It took until my second time looking at it to realize the error.

Clearly the unsung hero of our time.

So if the total in civilian labor force is 66.5% and femails are 60.5% doesn’t that mean that non femails are only 6% of the working population?

BUT HER FEMAILS!

Non-femails are the new millenials, evidently.
Actually, the statistics stated total then the female population. It didn’t say anything about the male population, which irked me. I refuse to believe the entire male population over 16 is in the civilian workforce. Just... no.

66/100 people of any gender in the county work in the civilian sector.
34/100 do not
60/100 women in the county work in the civilian sector.
40/10 women do not.

I see. I think it could be more clear though.

NOT HER FEMAILS! OH THE HUGE MANATEE!

That’s really what I was getting at. Looks like they had someone with no stats or SciVis (scientific visualization, making data easy to understand through visuals and other presentation techniques) experience making this. I took 3 years of SciVis in High school, so this just bugs me.

I’m just going to assume all females/femails in the county are hard working people, and the men are just all lazy.

Well... it’s a panel of some sort, not sure what though. I think the best way to find out is to just grab it or lick it.

Open it first, then lick.

Oh, it’s iron mail.

I like to be thorough, so let’s do it both ways.

Good call. Safety third!
![]() 07/19/2017 at 08:50 |

So i can technically say “iron male” to refer to women? Actually, that sounds pretty cool.... sort of jealous now...

Good point! There’s some accuracy to it as well.

Safety is always third in my book.

Showed my son that for the first time last weekend. He cackled like a maniac the entire time.
