Kinja'd!!!5 Kinja'd!!! 5

Three very different events in completely opposite parts of Toronto.

By Sunday night I was so exhausted but at the same time pleased at the endless aural bombardment I had put myself through. From the orchestra of naturally-aspirated flat-six cup cars, to twin turbocharged V6 indycars, to naturally aspirated V12 Ferraris - it was a lot to take in. I’m fairly certain there were a lot of shots I had wished I had gotten but just never got around to because of the shock and awe.

This post will be updated with the appropriate Flickr album links once the full collections go up, but until then you can follow me on Instagram for the most up to date shenanigans.

Friday (Downtown Toronto)

My second visit to the Honda Indy Toronto but the first on Fan Friday, where admission is free par a donation to Make a Wish. An incredible experience since the venue is somewhat empty allowing great vantage points from the grandstands and a lot of freedom of movement.

Saturday (Bowmanville)

The first time in recent memory that Ferrari North America has brought the Corse Clienti program to Mosport, how can you possibly miss it? The last time I was here I caught Remo Ferri’s 599XX very briefly but on this occasion there were three FXX-Ks and two 599XXs (one EVO). Spent a lot more time watching than actually shooting, especially around the paddock, but oh well. As disappointing as the 488 Challenge sounds I still kind of wish I grabbed a few more photos of them (they lap within 1 second of 991.2 GT3 Cup cars at 1:20 average).

Sunday (Kitchener)

No fast action on this day but an equally rare opportunity - 4 RWBs in the same place, with two from out of province (British Columbia and Quebec). Unfortunately Nakai-san was a bit delayed in finishing the car so RWB Kitchener was debuted right before a massive thunderstorm. Didn’t get a good opportunity to meet him before I had to evacuate, but at least the exotic company was nice while it lasted. As you can imagine the parking lot was at least half Porsches of varying vintage.

Nice! Someone had a great week-end!
How do you get this glossy look in your photos? In some of them the cars look more like renderings than real

Could be a mix of the polarized filter and some sharpening, not quite sure.

I figured he must use a polarized filter by the look of the headlights and winshields, but there must be more to it. I love the look of it
