A Corvette-car-owners forum has hundreds of photographs of plates reading VETTE or VETT or Z51 or Z06 or ZR1 ... inches below plastic “CORVETTE” emblems on cars which are obviously Corvettes.

You’d feel differently after owning one and having to pay for the constant breakdowns.
But in those rare moments it is actually roadworthy, the torque of that motor is a pretty big turn on!

Someone I used to work with had a Nissan Maxima w/ a license plate of “MAXIMA” which is of course ridiculous.
I also once saw a BMW 745 with the license plate “QTR TO 8" which is pretty clever.
