The Moller Skycar M400 is for sale on Ebay and included in with purchase are eight rotary engines and one massive apex seal leak waiting to happen.
The Rotapower branded Wankel variation have a direct drive propulsion fan and produce a
claimed
102 horsepower with just 530 cubic centimeters of displacement.
Apparently nobody is bidding on this classic piece of aviation folklore (ponzi scheme). The machine isn’t exactly in flying condition, but the creator, Paul Moller, is willing to put it back in original “flying condition” for the right price, of course.

No one is bidding I wonder if it could be the fact that you can buy a really nice airplane that flies for that kind of scratch

When you need 8 engines just for redundancy, you might consider consulting the department of redundancy department rotary division.

Misread as ‘Wanker’ engines, saw Moller was involved, decided ‘Wanker’ was correct after all.

Considering it’s never flown untethered,it’s not much of a plane either.

No bids at the relisted price of $250K, either.
Sad that I remember this as the big up and coming thing from my youth... and I’m (ouch) middle age now.
Kinda reminds me of the ongoing joke in the movie “The Money Pit”, in that the house repairs will always be complete in two weeks. Ad infinitum.
