Nope, yet again further away. Well, ok, not true. Some balances are down, but the baby still needs formula (there’s a whole story about her rejecting “natural” food sources that we don’t get) which is keeping some balances up or higher at $300-$500 a month, depending on price fluctuation. Silly babies. Still, only 2 months of that to go.

I also have it on good authority a winning set of lottery numbers. The guy on the corner traded them to me for a bottle of cheap vodka, so they must be legit, right?

I did. Trekked the whole family out to the east coast. Spent a week exploring Cape Cod. Looped back to Michigan and spent a week in a beach town on Lake Michigan.

Pretty nice little getaway.

I was looking up a part for an Evora and somehow I literally started dreaming. I woke up with my hands on the keyboard still and noticed a 15 minute lapse in time.

It’s true! There’s always a net gain, but it’s much slower than I’d like. Of course it’s in some way my fault, but I’m not going to blame myself for it anymore. Just move forward.

It’s going great. I put new rear pads and rotors on the minivan yesterday, and now they’re silky smooth.

Miraculously, 6 year old rotors popped right off with only a little grunting and the use of the force off screws.

Smoothest brake job I’ve ever done on 4 wheels.

Thank you! I’m a red wine guy, Tempranillo and Cab Franc are my favorites. I’ll go for a moscato (they’re typically sweet right?) if I’m outside and it’s hot. Also a big fan of Veltliner.

They are sweet yes, and to me a reisling is a good mix of bitter and sweet because I don’t like bitterness 100%. What is Veltliner?

It’s kind of like Sauvignon Blanc, but sweeter I guess is the best way to describe it. Generally Austrian or thereabouts. Every once and a while my wife will order a couple of cases and throw in some things we’ve never tried. Usually those wines are garbage, but the Veltliner we had was great.
