Progress! 4 years ago we move into this house and tore out urin soaked carpet. We have been living on plywood since. I’m now learning how to install hardwood flooring. This is 3/4 thick hickory. Beautiful wood I think.
Also check out this leftover mac and cheese.

For 4 years you had flooring on your wall but none on your floor?

Good stuff! I see you were smart enough to rent a pneumatic gun and not a manual one. That’ll be worth its weight in gold.

Can you imagine if you installed flooring that had the same pattern as your mac and cheese???
IT WOULD BE GLORIOUS!!!

This house was built when wood paneling was all the rage. It was also styled after the rustic but trendy Montana vacation cabin.

My parents are renovating right now so I’m hearing a lot about building materials and stuff. Just reading “3/4 thick hickory” I was like mmmmmmmm hardwood floors.

Real hardwood is nice. Laminate is cheap and easy but just doesn’t have the same look.

I bought the nailer, it’s awesome. I’ll probably never use it again.
