I typically don’t tell stories when I sell stuff but I need to get serious about selling now.
I’ll probably go back to eBay as well as Cycle Trader and maybe Craigslist. Maybe..
Here are the basics.
(Edited) 2007 Harley Davidson Softail Standard
9622 miles
Model: FXST Softail Standard Vivid Blue
Harley quick release windshield 21 inch high
Harley Luggage rack rear fender
Harley quick release sissy bar
Harley chrome tree and chrome engine package
Harley chrome tank guard extension for speedo
Harley chrome axle nut covers
Harley tool carrier
Harley chrome belt guard and chrome rear sprocket
Harley optional foot pegs and hand grips and valve stem covers
Chrome rectifier cover
Newer battery and 2a tender
New tires.
Screaming Eagle pipes.
Annual fluid changes with Redline synthetics
3 owners, well maintained, never laid down and garage kept under a cover (included).
I’m not sure what else to put in. I’ve ridden it three times since buying it from my dad in 2014. Selling cars is pretty easy compared to bikes. Especially when you deal in beaters.

Aside from a year and mileage, that’s plenty of details. I would include some photos of the windscreen and sissy bar on the bike, too.
I would also add that it’s a 96ci with a 6 speed. 2007 was the first year those were standard in some of the bigger bikes. Might help someone pick that one over a 2006.

I did have that in the body. Or so I thought. Huh.
The headline was 2007 Harley Davidson FXST with 9622 mi.
Thanks.

Since it is a 3rd owner might mention you bought it from family. Not that 3rd owner is a big deal but clarifying that it has basically been in the family for years may put those who worry at ease.

“Screaming Eagle pipes.”
Ugh... I will not buy your motorcycle.
Aside from that, I suggest you have some fun with it and draw some inspiration from these ads:
