There was a mini-car show at the special needs camp my wife works as a nurse and she recognized one of the owners/cars. Mostly because the car is hard to miss.
Taken at C&C a few weeks ago.
It’s a continuation series Ford GT40 with the racing crate motor option that the owner got from his wife for his 75th birthday, hence the number “75". We’ll she said hi and mentioned that we had saw him a few weeks ago at C&C and he gave her this and said to say hi as we’ve talked a few times.
Seems like a legitimately nice Hot Wheels and a good start! We’ll see what’s next.

Nice! And you’re telling me that a 75 year old put that sticker on it? Hahaha—
FInally, gib Corvette in the background. Love that 56-57 look.

He turns 80 next year and I told him his wife needs to hear the GT40 somehow.

I’ve been drawn in by your tiny cars. It’s a disease.

Buckle up, homie, there’s no cure. Especially if that Gulf GT-LM is your first taste.

LaLD gets another!
It really is addicting when you realize you can just have every possible dream car... albeit in tiny form.
That’s a sweet GT40 that guy has though!

Yeah, it really is. The only cure is more cowbell.

I bought my first die cast last August, I’ve spent over $1500 now to see them on a shelf.
