Photo and story reported in the Springfield, MO News-Leader newspaper tells of how a 7-year-old boy loved this mustang, which was restored by his grandfather. Sounds like the one night they had it in the driveway, someone decided to drop fireworks into the interior and start a fire. More on this sad story here...

Hopefully this kid gets his car back better than ever!
Also hopefully the punk(s) who did it get arrested and then hit by a bus. I cannot even begin to put myself in the mindset of the people, who I am assuming are males close to my age, who think “There’s somebody else’s nice property, we could be really cool and funny and destroy it!”

Hopefully we’ll get a chance to donate to the rebuild cost for this car, although it’s ruined now it seems to be part of the family, so it’s a chance to make more memories by rebuilding it again.
But whoever did this needs fireworks let of in their ‘interior’ and to be hung up and used as a piñata.

Similar thing happened in MI to a grand prix. Dumb ass kids thought it’d be funny to drop fireworks in a strangers car, went up in flames and burnt down the XJ next to it. Idiots did in front of a store though so they were on camera. Kid ended up being 10yrs old, I’m not sure if they are prosecuting or not.
