Finally got my wheels back from powdercoating!
Wheels are 19" Forgeline VR1s wrapped in Nitto INVO (I hate these tires) 275/30-19 front and 345/30-19 rear.
I bought the wheels cheap after someone decided to spend their hard earned money making them look ridiculous and used paint to do it. Paint was chipping off and was just a sad sight to see.
I refinished them in this “triplebronze” powdercoat finish which looks phenomenal in person. It shifts from a light hue in direct sunlight to dark in the shade and looks amazing. The picture doesn’t do it justice but if you watch the video at the end you will see the walk around where you can see the color shift happen (as best as a camera can capture).

It’s nice to know that guys that can afford a Viper still use harbor freight jacks just like the rest of us lol

I love that jack!!! If you have one you probably agree haha. Better than most of the other jacks I’ve had in the past lol. I come from a humble up bringing and have spent way too many hours wrenching on civics, integras, and my 700hp s2000 I sold and replaced with the ACR. :D

Hahahahaha, it’s a great jack I just bought one not that long ago. I liked it enough that it’s going to travel to rallyX events with me for wheel/tire changes. nice and smooth lift and drop on it.

True.
But some things are cheaper than the cheapest walmart brand chinese made tool.
Depends on what you’re buying from them in my experience

I have no shame in using Harbor Freight tools! Unless you are putting it through daily abuse at a shop most of it is awesome!
I used their 12-ton press which cost me $100 to do all my control arm bushings.
Would have cost way more than that to have a shop press them out!

I do not like the wheels with the stripe, but I did like the wheels in their previous ‘guise so you can weight my opinion based on that haha.

Yeah I say that all the time. My dad is a Master Mechanic and has top quality tools. He looks at my stuff which is a mix of Craftsman and Harbor Freight specials and shakes his head. To which I respond, this is a hobby for me (you insisted on that and said I wasn’t allowed to become a mechanic) so no, I don’t buy all snap-on stuff.
