I have never seen a $17,000 Sunchaser. Plus, this one is an automatic, which deprives you of about 75% of the fun.

We should set it on fire. That would help rise the value on yours...

That reminds me of when I test drive someone’s 1992 celica, it was slow as mud and would have been a nice fun little car if it had a manual, otherwise it was just a slow car.

Here’s one for 16k. I like yours 1000x times more though.

I drove my mom’s 1992 auto Celica convertible every time I went to visit. I had a blast in it. I guess it’s just mindset and calibrated expectations.

Nah, an auto means you have one hand free for your drink and the radio.

Looks like it’s been adjusted to $3k

Convertible would be considerably more fun. One thing to consider, in my disappointment with it, was that I was trying to replace a Mazda 6 V6 which had been totaled in an accident. Both vehicles were autos but the 6 was on a completely different fun scale.

Still more reasonably priced than rusted heaps of fastback Mustangs I find on Craigslist.

Yes, that would not be a fair comparison, and I freely acknowledge that having the top down in the summer makes all the difference.
