I really want Audi to bury the damn humongous grille. It looked cool and distinctive in 2005 but just played out in 2017.

Dodge goes full width, nobody bats an eye. Audi does it and everyone loses their minds.

I’m not losing my mind but rather pointing out that comically large grilles have become boring and repetitive over the years. Audi kinda came up with the ‘single frame’ grille and now they should bury it imo.

“Maximum Kia Fusion” Edition.
Audi’s Exterior Styling Studio has successfully made their once stand-out vehicles visually irrelevant, mindlessly redundant and trivial.
I expect they’ll get the “ Beige Toyota Camry Lifetime Achievement Award ” at the upcoming 2018 Auto Show circuits.

That interior tho

That center console is big and all, but it looks like there is a chance I could fit my knee between it and the steering wheel. It needs to be bigger.

So what your saying is because the other manufacturers aped audis styling, audi should now change it up? As an audi fanboy, I disagree. That’s the appeal of audi, at least to me. They have a great interior layout and classy exterior styling, and I know hat if I jump in a brand new one, it’s going to work the same way as my older model. They know their customers and they want to trade them in every few years and get the new model. Might be boring, but it works. Similar joke to the 911 styling department from the top gear crew, but if it works, why screw with it? I’ve always loved the styling all the way back to the early 2000's A4s. But back then they were so different than all the others, now the others have imitateted Audi, but not quite the same. Do they blend in a bit more, sure, but that’s okay. The styling ages well. And the interiors are very nice places to be. But it’s not for everyone, and that’s okay. I’m a fan of incognito speed. Happy to blend in most of the time. Now if I can just figure out how to route a set of cutouts on my S8, I’ll be a happy man. Quiet when I cruise, and screaming at redline when I want to not blend so much.

Grill too big? Don’t like the “looks”? Just a gentle reminder. The more exposure to airflow that engine gets, the longer it will last. Maybe looks aren’t everything.
