I don’t have one, but I’m around them a lot. I can’t believe they’ve gotten so big the bed sides on the 4x4s come up to eye level on me.

If I was in the market for a full ton truck, the Ford is what I would get. And I say this as a GM fan boy, I can’t deny the fact that the aluminum body would be way better to have long term in the salty north

I’m a GM guy, too but my last 2009 Ford F350 was pretty good to me. Unfortunately I just rolled it... The thing still drove, though.

The GM front ends unfortunately just can’t handle the punishment of our logging roads. And their cabs are way less roomy.

Recently drove a high trim series (platinum or limited?) F-250 with the 6.7L. It’s huge, very comfy, too many features, and scary fast because of the torque. The only thing that really bugged me was that the door handles wiggled, which is absurd for such an expensive vehicle. Otherwise it’s very quiet (not much wind/road noise, gets kinda loud around 90mph) and has lotsa cool tech to play with in the cluster.

Did I mention it’s huge and fast? 60-90mph is almost scary because it happens so fast.

We have a 2015 at work. Love the power, hate the handling and ride. Our chevy handles way better and rides better. But that power stroke is one hell of an engine.

We have a ‘17 250 as a company truck, and overall I really liked it, my only minor complaints would be that it’s really tall, and it rides a little rough because of that solid axle in the front. If you had an ‘09 and didn’t mind it then this will be fine.
