no way the profit made on the car covers the cost of production and Edd’s salary though. I think Mike has mistaken the intent of the question.

If I had to make a wild guess, my charitable, be-too-nice-to-the-guy-who-was-a-dingus-to-Edd-China guess would be that the show gets the profit somehow.
