Much like Lexus, Infiniti stormed onto the market in the early 90s with two models in play, and much like Lexus, one of the models was highly regarded and remembered by most of the car community, while the other model, a smaller, more niche model, was largely forgotten. The model in case for Infiniti was the M30.
Basically a rebadged Nissan Leopard, it was Infiniti’s “luxury coupe,” sort of similar to the original Lexus SC. It was powered by the VG30E V6 with power going to the rear wheels, and they even made a convertible version.
So I wanna know what the general consensus around here about this odd, forgotten Infiniti. Cool, or nah?

I’ve never seen one in person, but if I needed a beater and one showed up for ~$1500, I’d be down

I’d rock one.

It’s a 25+ year old, RWD Japanese car with a Nissan V6. What’s not to like? :)

Cool...up to the point where you choose the SC instead.

The convertible is hideous in a late 90's Chrysler kind of way. The coupe? Yes please. Rwd old school luxury....

I feel like they could have at least installed the VG30DE, instead of the E.

Always felt that its lines and proportions were just right. Wouldn’t mine taking one and manual-swapping it.

Had to Google that to figure out what that was, but yeah, good point.
Then again, why not DETT? :)

I remember wanting one of these when I was in high school. That or a G20

It quite easily fits an RB series engine, so it can’t be too bad...
Plus, the auto show display was so ‘90s in the best possible way.
