WHAT ARE THE FIRST 2 AUTOMOBILES YOU PURCHASE? !!!!!!!!!!!
Quick links to help you decide:
!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!
!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!
!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!
First cars i’d get?
For sure a brand new Land Cruiser is car number 1. Torn between an !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! ,and !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! for the second spot. In the end, there will be a yuge metal building completly stocked with 100+ mostly non street legal race cars.
I’ll go with the F50 because it’s my fav and I couldn’t find an Enzo FXX.
*the lawsuit?..... Um..... you sued SubWay for false advertisement after they sold you a foot long sandwich that was actually 12.3 inches.

First, house.
Then, a supercharger for my truck, and a Syclone.
Pocket the rest.

V8 MGB to tool about in as I come to terms with my new wealth.
Followed by a 675LT coupled with a privately rented Silverstone for the day because I need to spend some bloody money!

Mama-mobile:
Weekend Warrior:
Daily driver: Big turbo on Mountune fully built internal 2.3 stroker
And the rest on property in middle TN for a home + farm + privately owned and operated rifle range/marksmanship and weapons safety training facility + private 1.5 mile race track a la Alan Wilzig

First car is a Phantom coupe with green exterior and green/tan interior.
Second is a Sunchaser as a thank you to my lawyer.
![]() 07/07/2017 at 10:37 |
|
First two? Well, after I buy a house that has enough parking spaces...
First car I’d buy would be my girlfriend’s car so that way she owned it.
Second car would be... probably a WRX or something of that ilk. Maybe a used S4 with the six-speed, since I don’t think the new ones have a manual anymore.

Lexus LX
Lexus LFA

My car and my wife’s car. Sorry that’s not exciting but my next purchases would be a Raptor and a trailer so I can start collecting those sweet rat rod pieces.

The only thing I won recently was $19.67 as part of a class action settlement where AT&T Wireless and/or Cingular apparently overcharged me back in like 2008. I don’t remember joining this class action suit but I got a random check in the mail from AT&T Mobility recently.

almost $20 is better than a kick up the arse.

An E39 M5 as my DD; and a ‘65 GTO convertible for nice weather. I’d want a later model M5 than below, and I’d swap in a tri-power intake/carbs on the GTO, but otherwise this is perfect:

Singer 911 Rush Build/Delivery. Looking something like this.
The nicest red Z8 that I can locate (for my father).
![]() 07/07/2017 at 10:43 |

Finish building my offroad smart, then buy a diesel smart, then buy a second 453, but manual, and convertible.
![]() 07/07/2017 at 10:44 |

Bentley Continental GT3-R for town.
Porsche Rally car so I could play in the dirt with Dusty Ventures and friends.
Then I’d buy 50 of my closest friends and relatives new matching Jeep Wranglers just for fun. After that I’d buy a small private island I know of in NC that has a house already on it with a helipad. Bank whats remaining.
![]() 07/07/2017 at 10:47 |
|
Boring I know sorry. one track mind.
![]() 07/07/2017 at 10:48 |

The nicest 2.4tdci Defender 110 I can find and a car trailer. That counts as one vehicle, so I’d buy a rally prepped Stratos and drive it everywhere I can.
Then use the LR for collecting All The Projects.
![]() 07/07/2017 at 10:49 |

only two cars?
2014 Raptor Crew Cab
2017 McLaren 675LT
![]() 07/07/2017 at 10:50 |

With that amount of money I’d skip land vehicles altogether and buy a boat to cruise full-time, something like a Hallberg-Rassy. Maybe also buy some stock in a brewery or rum distillery that’ll keep my drinks locker stocked.
![]() 07/07/2017 at 10:50 |
|
The first two would logically be impulse purchases so...
– 1st gen Mini Moke. Spruce Green and RHD for full effect.
– A skimpy, not too restored vintage Bentley (come to think of it, the one from The Fast Lady would do very nicely, thank you). Blower optional.
Later I could devote more time and effort to satisfy other manifold and very rational automotive needs.
![]() 07/07/2017 at 10:51 |

I buy back my civic :D
2nd car? I dunno, who cares? :D
![]() 07/07/2017 at 10:52 |

#1, a Hudson pickup.
#2, a Miura.
![]() 07/07/2017 at 10:53 |

A grey MK7 Golf R 6MT; then I’d have someone re-trim the seats in the Euro e-Golf blue plaid fabric. Along with the usual wheels/tires, which I’d go for 18s rather than the factory 19s because the US sucks and we can’t have nice things like good roads.
For sure a new LC as well.
And whatever the wife wants. She’s talked about a convertible of some kind, so probably a mint S2K.
![]() 07/07/2017 at 10:55 |
|
So starting things off with a quite practical car. McLaren F1.
And then really torn between an Icon FJ and a Lancia Stratos.
![]() 07/07/2017 at 10:55 |
|
A Sunbeam Tiger and something else.
![]() 07/07/2017 at 10:57 |

Well the first thing you’re going to ‘purchase’ is $1.5B in attorney’s fees. The second thing you’re going to do is laugh at some of the sellers on eBay, clearly running on hopes and dreams.
![]() 07/07/2017 at 10:57 |

Undoubtedly.
A Lancia Aurelia B24 Spider America.
https://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C722013
Typically between £300-700,000
My second car would be a
Daily runabout, fuel and space efficient, reliable, etc...
Probably a Skoda Kodiaq 1.4TSi seven seater.
£30,000
![]() 07/07/2017 at 11:00 |

I’d have someone build my two dream trucks, a tasteful restomod of a 1950 Ford F3 (keeping the long bed).
Like this but different color and wheels, modern suspension, undecided on the engine, 6 speed manual, and some structural improvements.
The second would be a Super Crew jellybean F-150, with a 6.5' bed, updated interior, supercharged Coyote and Ford’s new 10 speed.
There would be many more trucks to purchase, but per the rules these would be the first two.

I used to have a Bburago model of a white 1954 Lancia Aurelia B24 Spider America when I was eight or something. Over the years it got lost or binned, then three years ago I got a replacement one but then two years ago a colleague at work said her grand son loved cars so I passed it on to him to hopefully appreciate like I did at that age.
One day I will have an off white Lancia Aurelia B24 Spider America with a blood red interior and wire wheels.
It will sit pride of place in the living room within eye shot of the TV and desktop computer. A leather recliner for those cold slow days that I can sit back with a large glass of whiskey and take in all the curves and lines of the car.
The Kodiaq is big enough without being too big, spacious inside as many Skodas are, fuel efficient, practical and reliable for daily driving or going on small expeditions.

First things first, I need that BMW Individual Arctic Metallic 320i.
This car:
In this color:
GIB.
Next, I’d probably go for a Mini Cooper S Hardtop 4-Door in Lapisluxury Blue and the Mini Seven package.

The absurd stuff will come after the necessities. Figure it’s important to get that daily stuff first, then the things that will be able to cross the prairies rather quickly. A few million in Saskatchewan will buy me a ton of house and land.

Bburago do 1:18 models. They are very accurate with steerable front wheels and steering wheel, bonnet, boot and doors open.
There are many different colours and there is a guy here in the U.K. that makes scenes with them.
Even some Disney versions.
![]() 07/07/2017 at 12:04 |
|
Hmm... don’t know about the race track, but a house with a good view would be great (probably overlooking the Saskatchewan River). Four car garage and a good sized lawn would be swell, too.
I don’t know, even with $2 billion, I don’t know if I could justify a race track. I’d probably end up donating a lot of it. Maybe cover the rent for a good sized lot for autocross.
Although kudos for having a pet shelter on there.
![]() 07/07/2017 at 12:09 |

I think I’d pick up every rat rod project I saw advertised and all the model a + t parts I can find.

Napier Green for sure, but since it’s used I’ll take what I can get.
I’d do some crazy custom pearl on the 720 order. Probably a blue with a gold pearl.
![]() 07/07/2017 at 12:56 |

I mean why not right? I have $2 billion. That means I could afford a decent house with a nice shop on some land and invest the rest of the money and live off it forever. Obviously buy more cars too, but you said the first two
![]() 07/07/2017 at 13:03 |
|
Then the bigger question is: How many top-of-the-line Porsches will that attorney purchase with their $4B?
![]() 07/07/2017 at 13:14 |

Prior to the cars, I’d get a large chunk of land, figure out where to get some returns on that money, build a house, build a separate outbuilding with copious garage/work space, etc.
1) New Land Cruiser for the wife.
2) Ford GT, which I’d only drive on my private track once it is built.
![]() 07/07/2017 at 13:14 |

LOL right?
