Everyone loved it. The script, camera work, acting, soundtrack, everything was amazing. I actually saw it because the stunt driver for Baby is on a forum I’m active on. BTS details after the jump (all stuff that’s been shown in the trailer).
All the stunts were done for real, and tucking the nose of the Avalanche under the truck was done at 45 MPH on an actual freeway. The brake-torque 180 in the purple Caprice was actually done by Ansel Elgort, and he actually received a fair amount of stunt driving tuition.
If you want authenticity, this is probably the most authentic car movie made since the 1971 version of Gone.

I want to know if that WRX was stock. I enjoyed the film too.

One of the WRXs were converted to RWD and one of the WRXs got an STI trans and Cusco diffs, but that ridiculous J-turn was done in a bone stock AWD car, and all the Subaru stunts were done with 4 people in a car so they took a lot of abuse. Apparently they held up really well.
