And when you buy it, you will receive a full day session at Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving in Arizona. Its cool. But I don’t know how I feel a bout dropping $65k on a Durango, or having something that has 3 rows of seats and is as fast as a Charger SRT with a high center of gravity. I would’ve been fine with a Magnum.

Considering Tahoe’s creep into the $70k range, if not more now, it’s not crazily priced. I would definitely buy one of these over a Tahoe.

Oh yea of course. But there is no Tahoe SS (I wish there were). A Tahoe LTZ and this are like comparing a Charger SRT8 to an Impala LTZ. So while the price is the same the performance isnt. Not only that, my problem with is it that the Durango is old.

There is the Tahoe RST.

True but thats more appearance than anything even though it does have the 6.2. But the Tahoe is too huge to be of any benefit ti anything performance.

Just don’t let your teenager drive it.

And 10 speed.

These things will depreciate like a rock.

Maybe. But not much. The late model SRT products seem to be holding their value. For instance Ive never seen a Charger SRT (from the 2013 redesign on) under 25 grand.

from 65k tho ....

Really? You would actually get to use this more performance wise though. And you would look cooler. The Expedition might as well be a soccermom mobile.

this would also be a soccermom mobile. do you have any idea how many women in my are have Hi-Po suvs? its because their husbands buy them for their wives to avoid buying a minivan. an Expedition FX4 would be more useful to me than a durango SRT

I loved the Durango R/T that I drove a few times. I can only imagine this is better. I’m sad that the dial shifter is gone tho.

What did they replace it with?

Before they release that, they should direct a little focus on making their regular vehicles suck less.

A relitively normal shifter.

They just need a revamp. Every vehicle they have on sales is way past its expiration date.

Muscle car reminiscent.

Like a Hurst T handle mixed with Star Trek phaser

They release cars that seemingly expired before they were even released.
Somehow they think that they can only pay attention to their performance market and just expect people to buy everything else.

Yea for the most part its starting to seem like SRT is a band aid for the how old the Charger/Challenger and Durango are. I mean its not a bad thing for the crazy performance they kick out, but the cars are old, and its old school American performance: crazy power and fast in a straight line, but handles like shit. A Challenger SRT anything would get dusted on the track against Camaro Zl1/Z28 and Mustang Shelby GT350. Hell even RT/GT/SS it would be last.
