Why? I don’t know why people get so hung up on the GXP and it’s price, why not get a GT? Its a detuned LS2, the L76 is a 350+ hp 6.0L beast that 0-60 is around 5 sec. What more do you need? Been over this a couple times now  about the G8.

Saw a silver GT the other day and even in that color it still looks great. No wonder these things still fetch such a high price.

For sure. My parents had one of them, base model ex-rental. Went 240,000 miles with only a wonky gauge cluster just before warranty ran out, and the passlock had started acting up. They likely would’ve kept it for another 240,000, except my sister wrote it off. I won’t call it a good car, but it wasn’t awful. Just, you could tell it was pretending to be the rear-drive cruiser it used to be, and not succeeding.
