After a tank flush and two carb rebuilds I’ve finally ridden her again. Still needs tuning at idle but otherwise it runs great. May consider having a pro look at the carb tuning since it’s not a strength of mine.

I remember trying to do the carb on my old Mk2 Polo, the pierburg it came with shat the bed so I replaced with a bigger Weber and I just couldn’t get a Base idle so paid a guy to come and take a look.

I’ve been out to the bike game for so long I can’t believe new ones still have carbs.

Mine’s as cheap as they come hence why it still uses a carb. Anything by a reputable manufacturer will usually have fuel injection.
