I think we all can agree that having a job sucks, I’m seriously considering becoming an alcoholic who lives off the system. Working at a gas station I see people every day who don’t have jobs, but have plenty of money for booze, cigs, and lotto. They’re also basically homeless and walk everywhere, but at least they don’t waste 40 hours a week working for someone else.

I was 10 to 9 today, 9 to 9 tomorrow, 10 to 8 Sunday, 9 to 9 Monday, 9 to 9 Tuesday. I’m so excited......I do finally get a day off on Wednesday, though.

I had a really nice job working in media but they decided to “take a different direction”. These days you gotta take a paycheck. Hell, I probably already am borderline alchy, lol

So true. I work nights, I even agreed to work tonight (as in now) to cover for a colleague who needed the night off at short notice. So I’m working six nights back to back. Still, Wedesday morning I’ve three nights off. Yay.

Oh no not me. I have a laugh with or at customers. Just a few minutes ago, had a truck driver make a stop to take a brake. I asked where he was heading. He said Livingstone. I said, ‘urgh, never mind, there are two good things about Livingstone though, the road out and the view in the rear view mirror’.

Really I shouldn’t complain, I st lest kind of enjoy my job most days. I like my managers, and their managers. But I’ve been at the same site doing basically the same job for over three years now, Andy it’s beginning to feel so monotonous. I usually change jobs every year or so. But I’m trying to buy a house and you can’t get a home loan without a stable job, at you’ve had for 2 years. So there’s no point in even looking until that process is over.

I worked 57 hours this week for my brother’s tree service. I’m the groundperson so I run stuff for the climbers, manage the ropes, carry logs to the truck, and feed the chipper.
