it’s not that hard, really. It takes persistence, true. But if at first you don’t succeed, try again. unless you blow the car up, or catch it on fire (pro tip: do many small adjustments instead of a few big ones) you just tweak ‘em some more. Most modern (read: less than 50 year-old) carbs are actually quite stable and reliable once tuned and if kept clean. don’t forget to drain those float bowls if you’re leaving it sit!
