I leave in a week (road trip!) for the land of poutine, smoked meat, and Molson. I’m quite excited.

Americans tend to stuff their asses off instead just having a simple meal.

Americans just double down on the portion size. It doesn’t matter what you eat, if you eat enough of it.

This was sour cream glazed om nom nom. And it was soft inside like it’s supposed to be instead of dried up so you need a gallon of coffee with it like at Dunkin.

I wonder, is Canadian Tim’s any better than US Tim’s?
Not that it’s bad , but the coffee doesn’t ever seem to wake me up as well as other chains’ coffee.

Oh, fer sure.
Molson is purely for nostalgic reasons. I grew up drinking Ex. When I was in college, there was one store near campus that had Ex for cheaper than the traditional cheap beers (Natty Ice, Milwaukee’s Best, etc). It was our default cheap beer.

They are different. Of course my Canadian coworkers swear the Canadian ones are the best, but they are a little different. The tastes are just a bit different and all that.
