The black GX highlighted how badly my headlights need cleaned. Not sure how to get rid of the gross yell tint though.

Just pretend they’re Euro headlights

If you polish them up it will get rid of the yellowing. I’ve had good results with the basic Meguiar’s kit with Plast-X polish and the buff ball you use with your drill. Make sure to hit them with at least some spray wax afterward.

One the Civic, I put polishing compound on my DA polisher. Worked great.

Just compound with a DA and put Sealant on afterwards. Did my partners last week. Before and after below.

Stupid question. What is a DA?

Same, but parking next to this GX reignited the fire to clean it

Don’t be so hard on yourself. You’re not truly lazy.
A truly lazy person would just buy new headlights, right?
I’m in the same boat, but instead of yellowing mine have succumbed to fine scratching. I think I’m going to try some clear vinyl first from either Headlight Armor, Lamin-X, or Xpel. Protection films for FJC headlights tend to be cheap as they’re just round cutouts and not some funky shape.

I bought the Maguires kit and did them. the results weren’t great, the fogging was on the inside on one side.
