$42k for 78' corvette pace car.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
in case the link gets kinja’d.
Take off zero on the price & still would not pay it. No way on earth is 1978 Corvette worth $42k. I could care less how original is it.

“On original tires” “1800 km”
40 year old tires. Fuck that. The seller thinks it’s a museum piece. Unless it’s THE pace car, it’s not.

The tires where probably shit brand new. Drift trikes probably have more grip.

That might be the only way an L48/TH combo can do a burnout, so there’s that.
Your Juke makes the same HP as this lump.

My Juke makes 181whp/177wtq. So probably more at the crank then this boat anchor.

You’re right! I remembered that, but was confusing wheel HP with crank. It’s late.
This thing makes 180 HP stock, net. Easily tuned, but the seller hasn’t done that, because UNICORN.

Exactly. Pace car replicas are worth exactly nothing over their siblings without the decals.

Yeah- I’ve seen a lot of these. For whatever reason, they seem to have made a lot of pace car replicas in ‘78.

I see what you did there— :)

The Viper that Carroll Shelby paced that race with? Oh yeah, I’m in at least five figures (probably more like six). But a car that’s probably never been near that track? Fuck ‘em.
