better lighting was best thing I’ve done, but vent for heat has brought temps down to ambient. when installing it I nearly passed out up by the ceiling. after cutting the hole up on the roof i could feel heat wafting out the hole alone
I am terrified of heights, but the install was easy even for me. although, a little sloppy. I am considering a second, it shall be much tidier

Doesn’t look too bad! As long as it doesn’t leak right?

I’ve not had them leak before (always had them in australia), guess we shall see how the US brand and roof differences go

I have new roof vents in my garage too.
But the best thing I’ve done to the garage is double its size. I’ll post pics and stuff soon.

I was told by my realtor to not install those in my city. Cops think it’s a grow op.

When we lived in Texas I add two of those to our house. It lowered our air conditioning bills substantially. Our attic wasn’t even usable for storage until I put those in.

In the Nanny State Of Ontarioooo, Canadia, they would have your phones tapped, Child Services at your door, and a suspicious looking van parked down the street. Just in case you were doing something that might not be taxable.
