Corrado “Magnum” G60 shooting brake at C&C. Both belonged to a shop in my hometown in PA (and I believe the same guy that did that Harlequin cross country adventure recently), and I believe he sold one or both at $50k a piece.

Too. Cool.

Wasn’t that one of Günter Artz’ creations at Autohaus Nordstadt?

I thought Artz built an Audi Quattro sedan and Avant.

Among other things. His most famous creations are probably the Golf928 and the Cordett.

Strange proportions. Well, at least it was done to a G60 and not an SLC.

More like mad genius. He killed his mom and spent the rest of his life in the looney bin.

Source? Couldn’t find anything on that. Also, who wouldn’t turn into a nut selling VWs and Opels for a living.

Never heard of that guy, but he’s built some pretty cool stuff!

The Magnum was an internal VW prototype, so not a coachbuilt car. I can’t recall who designed it though.
