Well SpaceX landed another Falcon 9 1st stage on their drone ship just now

From a previous launch

Stage 2 is still in transit to its geostationary transfer orbit location.

Regardless of what you think of Elon and his ways, its pretty cool this is a private enterprise and that its working.

Nice. Missed this one, but maybe I’ll catch the one tomorrow. The Vandenberg launches seem to have very nice camera footage.

As someone who hasn’t paid much attention to Space-X in the past couple years, I’d just like to say HOLY SHIT THEY JUST LANDED A PRIVATE ROCKET STRAIGHT DOWN ONTO A BOAT.

I was watching this live, and the flaky footage suddenly showed the rocket appear, standing on the boat. No landing, just appeared out of nowhere. It was funny and amazing. But mostly amazing.

Yeah, thats what I saw. My tinfoil hat self was like “see how it wasn’t there and then was...hmmm did it land at all?” I’ve been watching too many youtube nutter theories for fun I guess.
