32 pop-punk, punk, post-hardcore and 00s alternative songs mashed together. Finally, someone has eclipsed DJ Earworm’s United State Of Pop 2009.

That worked well, but made me hate everything.
It made me feel very glad to be in the 90s music scene. I hear “say it ain’t so” and I think Weezer.

Replying to myself: Say It Ain’t So is a good song. I would star myself for this if possible.

Just reminds me of how many of those bands sound exactly the same

To be fair, that could be said of almost any genre. But yeah, it’s amazing what the same time signatures and similar production techniques can do.

To be fair, I also think Weezer. The blue album was pretty much perfect.

Pavement was my 90s band, but Weezer is a very close second.

If we’re discounting The Tragically Hip here out of my national pride, Our Lady Peace is probably my favorite 90s band.

Ayy, you found my house! (First driveway on the right after the car). The car’s way more of a hooptie in person, eh? Next time you’re in the area we’ve gotta meet up.

That’s what makes a genre I suppose. But I mean how they sound so similar you could pretty much replace a lot of them with some other band from that era and it’d basically sound the same.
I’m not much of a music snob. I listened to some of them. As a general rule I avoid singers/bands that when I listen to them and ask myself “could you replace them with someone else and it not matter?” If yes, I tend to avoid.

32 songs? That’s cute. Here’s over 150 in 4 minutes.

Brand New were the sound of my teenage years. Well shit who am I kidding everything but Avril Lavigne in the mashup was my personal high school soundtrack. Everything else was shitty hip hop, country, nickelback, etc.
