This suggests that Honda is underrating the motor. If we use a conservative loss figure of 12%, this means 330-something crank HP. For comparison’s sake, the Focus RS makes 282 at the wheels and the Golf R 258.
Yes, traction and driver skill will go towards minimizing the horsepower differences, but it’s still interesting to see.
