do awesome things with Ladas.
You all should watch them start a 2106 for the first time in 28 years with only parts from a second pretty well abandoned 2106, the tools from the original Lada tool kit, and a couple other small things just to make life easier.
And when I say they’re awesome, I mean it. Without Shawn’s vintage Napa books, I wouldn’t even have made it to the start line of the LeMons Retreat from Moscow rally, let alone finishing third with a trophy. Shawn’s the tall one.
They also reference Ivan early on in the video. If you click through to YouTube there’s more videos about them building and racing their badass 2104 wagon, Ivan2104. It’s good stuff.

And this is why I like Easyern Bloc stuff....it’s terrible crap...
But it’s rugged and durable terrible crap :P
