Pretty much all week we’ve been having heavy pop-up t-storms causing flooding in the ‘Burgh, and there have been numerous people that have needed rescued after driving into flooded streets. Today it went up a notch.

I mean, if they drive the car in a little deeper, problem solved.

Stuck + Revving = Overheat + Fire?

Seriously, I don’t feel bad for anyone who has been doing this with their cars.

I do feel bad for that car dealership on rt.51

We also had a Greek Orthodox monastery struck by lightning yesterday, so I’m almost getting a ‘Plagues of Egypt/Repent Sinners!’ vibe from all this. O.o

The coming systems are overkill. I’d be surprised if it were overheated enough, or at all, from revving especially submerged. The battery and pre-fuse box are at the right rear of the engine compartment, where it like like the fire originated. My money is on electrical due to something shorting out.

happens with houses and buildings during floods too. water gets into a place where a lot of electricity is, and the wires heat up and ignite surrounding material.

Stuck + Revving = Overheat + Fire = Water wasn’t high enough
