While the rear of the car is ostentatious.
It simply takes after the Type R and Type R GT (Don’t ask me what the difference is, I don’t know).
It doesn’t matter either way. I would rather have the estate.

The GT just has more equipment, from what I understand.

Wondering what the aero stuff is. Wondering why it doesn’t have a sunroof when few if any Type R’s have ever had a sunroof. Go home Doug, you’re drunk.

Yeah a lot of the comments he makes are fluff. Especially in the non turo reviews.

Yeah. Engineering Explained and Car Throttle had reviews that were much better, both in terms of how they felt about the car and the fact that actually knew what they were talking about. Car Throttle even compared it to the previous model, which of course a North American journalist can’t do.

I generally hate capacitive controls replacing physical controls for no reason other than someone at the car company thought the capacitive controls would be cool when they just don’t work very well, I don’t care so much about the lack of volume knob because there appears to be a volume button on the left of the steering wheel.
And goddammit Doug, why you gotta be such a damn whiteboy with your Jimmy Eat World?

I actually do the same exact thing with the heater in my parents’ civics, that part made me laugh. Though if you got used to the volume knob location it’s really fine.

My wife does the same thing when riding in my 335xi. It has a volume knob but it’s about 1/4 the size of the driver’s temperature knob and tucked under a ledge.
She’ll do that and I’m like, “why you messing with my temperature?” and she goes “I want to turn the volume down!”

I love the practicality of it. There’s loads of space under the boot floor, the rear seat backs fold down or the rear seat bases fold up.

I hate the way it looks, but seems quite practical in a decidedly non-Camry fashion.
