I’m going to get one at some point once Splatoon 2 launches. I wouldn’t pay over retail for it though (looking at you, Amazon scammers asking $500+).

Do you have to get the system now? Mario comes out in October which is a month away from Black Friday deals. The supply on Switches is still pretty tight but by the Fall it shouldn’t be an issue any more.

Unquestionable yes. By the time you finish Breath of the Wild and Mario Kart, Splatoon 2 will be out, and at that point things should pick up steam through the holidays. If you can get one at retail, just buy it now.

From personally using one theyre alot of fun even split screen, the 720p screen is higher quality than one might expect. And the joycons are nice to use as long as you have normally sized hands haha

It’s well-received. You might like it. But you gotta, because there’s not much else.

I was luck enough to have bought a PS4 on release day. But the launch games were shit, the promised games got delayed, I barely played the thing for years. Coupled with the fact that PS3 had many games I hadn’t played that were dirt cheap next to mediocre full-price PS4 games...I could’ve waited 2 years to buy the thing and not battered an eyelid.
