The original Forza Motorsport had my car.

I forgot how wonderfully shameless of a Gran Turismo ripoff the series was before it eventually found it’s own identity.

A $60 Ford ad.

The series? You mean every Xbox game.
Except Halo 1. Deserved all the praise it got and more

I have one and I’d always assumed that you probably knew about that.
Gran Turismo 4 also has your car.
Forza 1 also had a 2004 Altima 3.5
Forza 2 had the 2004 AND 2007 Altima 3.5s

Gran Turismo 4, 5, PSP and 6 also feature your 5.0 Mustang.

I don’t remember any 5.0s in those games.

Nope, here’s proof of 5.0 Mustangs in GT4, 5, PSP and 6:

Unless you meant actual 5.0 Mustangs, in that case, have more proof:

I’m pretty sure I even missed a few Mustangs for other tuners (e.g: the Can Am one).
TL;DR Gran Turismo has a huge car list.

....none of those are 5.0 powered.
There’s a joke here that I’m missing. On both.

Some of the Mustangs I linked had the 5.0 engine:
First Gen Boss 302 - 4.9 (commonly referred to as 5.0).
http://www.igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=60181
New Edge SVT Cobra - 5.0.
http://www.igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=61163
Fifth Gen Boss 302 - 5.0.
http://www.igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=60159
And there’s a running joke that The Hondabro’s Accord is a ‘5.0 Mustang’ and ‘the last true muscle car’.

The ‘71 is a Mach 1, with a 351 or a 429.
The Cobra is a 5.4, the the new Boss, well, ya got me there.

Yeah, I got the Cobra R mixed up with the regular new edge Cobra.
Thanks for the corrections, it’s always good to hear more info about these cars.

No problem on the info, but the regular Cobra didn’t have a 5.0 either. They stopped using the 5.0 in the Mustang in 1995 (iirc)

You’re right, the SVT Cobra wiki page threw me off (one of the pictures had two Mustangs in it, and I thought it was referring to the SN95 when it was actually still a Windsor motor in an earlier Mustang).
