Well I’m finally check in at my hotel for my work trip. Staying in DC for the week for a developer conference. The are charging me $55 a day to park my car.... But at least they threw it out front !

I sympathize, having been presented with a hotel parking rate that—with the deal I got—was well over half that of the room’s in Chicago recently. Ride sharing companies must love this type of price gouging. I think I’ve passed by your hotel walking near the convention center.

Believe it or not, some large cities don’t have an abundance of land readily available for the storage of cars.

Yup its right near the convention center, I live like an hour and a half from here with no traffic but I needed to stay here because commuting would be a pain to get here at 7AM

Yeah its unreal I’m totally blown about it but at least my work is going to pay for it

Yeah there isn’t much parking in this part of the city but there is much cheaper parking this is what is in the hotel
