Watch Fast 8 then watch number 1. Hard to believe it’s even the same universe.

From serious, earnest, and “broke” to big budget, self-aware, and hilarious. Here’s to many more.

Well I don’t think Justin Lin was thinking anything DC or Marvel level of universe. As long as there is still racing in some form thats all that matters.

I will aslways love the first movie. It’s got many faults, but so many quotable lines, so many great or not so great action scenes, and a decent story lines which most of the other movie lack.

the ‘jump the shark’ moment for me was in 8 where Letty was waving around an assault rifle like a pro ... since when did things get so damn serious?

I guess that depends who you ask... Vin diesel probably has some good insights.

For whatever reason, this comment made me want to see a spinoff where Hector goes legit and gets his Civic in the NIRA circuit. A Fast and Furious movie about racing at a racetrack.
Edit: Or an origin story about Dom’s dad’s racing career.
