Something mr. raphy something something?? I’m sorry, I don’t know Dutch. I looked up good morning, and, casual student of German that I am, thought it was pronounced “goyda-moah-g’n”, more or less. How wrong I was.
DAFs are sick. Such a pity they stopped building cars.

The first word’s “good evening” and it presumably ends with “old race cars” but after that it’s up to you and Google Translate!
My mother used to have a Volvo (née DAF) 66.

Ah. It’s my legal name.
Those are really interesting. Think I saw one at a show in Warsaw a few years back. They have a CVT or something of that nature?

I didn’t assume you would, but I translated your name anyway, just for fun.

Yes, DAF always used what they called Variomatic, a belt and pulley CVT using a pair of rubber belts. Volvo kept this up after they bought the company and the Volvo 343/345 started off with the CVT until they realised that this was holding back sales and a manual was introduced.
