I did my yearly Mesquite and Palo Verde tree triming. I bought these trees for $10 and have just let nature water them because I live in a desert that has been in a drought for twenty five years. It’s taken a while for them to grow but they are starting to come in nicely.
That Rosemary bush has also come in strong with pretty much no watering. I live near a mountain preserve so my yard becomes inundated with weeds every spring. I don’t use herbicides, so I have to bust my ass to keep my yard looking not shitty.

I went to school in Tucson and embraced the desert landscaping when I moved back to Phoenix.

Gotcha. I guess a lot of the city does look pretty similar. It’s always interesting to see the mesquites in Phoenix when I go - we have lots of them here and they are much bigger yet somehow less green.

My neighbors across the street have one that towers over their house and takes up most of teir front yard. They have it on a drip though.

Nice, I really like mesquite. Wonder if I could get away with growing it here. Rosemary grows great.
My 4 year old told me she wants a yellow Jeep Hot Wheels today, thought you’d appreciate that.

That’s awesome! Mesquite are pretty resilient. Mine will go through growth spurts each time we get some rain.
