Mine was white, but otherwise identical - wish I still had it. NP or CP anyone?

$8500 for a ‘91 CRX Si with 150k miles?
CP, especially for that condition.

awfully clean for an old CRX, but too much money

Wow! I had to ride in the “back” of one of those for an hour in college...

Without adjepusting for inflation that’s probably what it cost New.
Actually not quite according to Autotrader a New Si cost 11,400 in 91.
Which if you do adjust for inflation is the same as a manual Sonic RS hatchback.

That sounds like the only time you could be in a CRX and not have fun, but it could be fun anyway.

I recall ours being close to 13K w/ no radio ...

I mean, the car is cool as hell, but $8500 for that condition seems CP.

Something about the factory wheels just turns me right on. It’s the first thing a dumb owner would normally change.

CP! Why would you want to pay that much for a pretty plain stock and well worn CRX when for just a little more you could have this?

Besides decent clean unmolested (or at least cleanly modified) CR-X’s can be found all day for less than $5,000.

I liked them as well, when I bought mine.

It was not, haha. Terrifying actually. The driver was a steroid user, and flipped the fuck out on the highway at another driver and then the passenger. I had to scream at him to get him to snap out of it.

Ooh! When was that? Why ever did you sell?

We only needed one car when I graduated from U MD, so the nod went to an ‘88 Camry 5M wagon that the then-girlfriend needed to schlep her double bass. Purchased new in ‘91, someone bought it in ‘93 for nearly what we paid for it. Just over 10K miles and pristine.
